What you should know about the benefits of algae oil in animal nutrition:
Algae oil is a plant-based source of omega-3 fatty acids, especially docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), which is necessary for brain and eye development, among other things. In contrast to fish oils, which are often used in dog and cat nutrition, algae oil offers a sustainable and environmentally friendly alternative.
Composition: algae oil(Schizochytrium sp.); cellulose (capsule)
Analytical constituents:
- Crude fat: 84.2 %
- Crude protein: 0 %
- Crude fiber : 9,6 %
- Crude ash: 6.2 %
- Omega-3 content: > 60 %
One capsule contains at least 300 mg EPA + DHA

Supplementary feed for dogs and cats
Net quantity: 48 g (80 capsules)
Feeding recommendation: simply give napfcheck algae oil capsules with food or a snack, if necessary open or lance beforehand (e.g. for cats).
Dogs by body weight:
- < 10 kg: 2 – 4 Kapseln pro Woche
- 15 - 25 kg: 1 capsule per day
- 30 - 45 kg: 1 - 2 capsules per day
- > 50 kg: 2 capsules per day
Cats (3-6 kg): 1 - 3 capsules per week
In the event of illness, you can double the recommended dose in consultation with your vet.
Storage instructions: Store closed, dry and protected from light. Cool storage is advantageous. If stored in a cool place, the oil may temporarily appear streaky.
